All word processing projects are both computer spell checked and proofread by our staff. Light editing–for those occasional slips–is provided free of charge on all jobs, and data files are kept on our computer for one month at no charge to you. |

Tips to Control Costs
| All pricing is calculated on an hourly basis. To ensure maximum efficiency, be sure to communicate accurately your expectations for the finished product. |

Keep interruptions to a minimum – every call and visit adds to production time

An additional method for reducing expenses is to perform your own proofreading. Simply request a “draft copy” of your project, mark your changes, and then return it to us for revision and final printout. This usually reduces costs by 10-25%, depending on the project.
Company Policies

Regular office hours are Monday through
Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Fridays by appointment.
We suggest calling ahead for better service. Work may be dropped off or picked up before and after office hours by prior arrangement.
A surcharge of 100% will be added to all after-hours and weekend work. A surcharge of 50% will be added to work completed in less than one business day. |
Applicable discounts do not apply to rush service. To avoid surcharges, you must allow adequate preparation time (one working day for every two hours of billable
time).
If you find errors in your original material that must be corrected after job completion, the new work will be charged at standard rates.
An error refers to the typographical miskeying of clearly legible text. If you find an error, correction will be made at no charge. (This does not apply to rough drafts which, at your request, are not proofread to keep hourly charges to a minimum.) All assurances as to accuracy are the customer's
responsibility.
Happy Fingers Word Processing & Business Services is not liable for any loss, damage, or delay of your project due to measures beyond our control. We are not liable nor responsible for the content of the material that is prepared at your
direction.
Deposit: A 50% deposit is required on all jobs.
Terms: Cash on delivery unless approved credit application is on file.
A $5 service charge will be applied to all past-due invoices in addition to interest at a rate of 1½% per
month.
We accept Visa and MasterCard; however, we do not accept out-of-town checks unless prior approval has been given.
A fee of $20 will be charged on all returned checks. |
